With the Coachella lineup recently unveiled, hippie fever in LA is just around the corner. I’ve yet to experience this ever-evolving festival, despite my annual insistent cry that, “this year is the year!” I don’t think I’ll feel like a true Californian until that fateful day but somehow I always seem to miss the 10 second window available to purchase tickets. Maybe the universe isn’t ready for me just yet, but I’ll be ready for it!
The whole bohemian vibe has always felt second nature to me but only recently did I discover SOAH (Soul of a Hippie) and Old Gringo Boots and the two of them just so happen to pair perfectly. Obsession isn’t a strong enough word to describe the intense and semi-irrational love I have for these brown fringe boots. You can practically pair them with anything. This bohemian style dress by SOAH was the perfect thing to throw on with them. I really liked the kaleidoscopic print but the low cut, open back is what I adore. There’s something subtly sweet yet sensual about a bare back. With so much going on with the boots and dress, I kept the jewelry to a minimum. You might notice in the pictures that I switched out the jewelry to show different options. Leather bracelets always compliment an outfit like this but if you prefer something a little more edgy, try adding some chunky sterling silver or turquoise in the mix. You may also want to consider bringing a net…you know, in case you happen to see Jared Leto walking around. Just saying…
