Newlyweds Négligée

Perhaps I’ve started wedding planning a bit backwards.  I have yet to find a venue (step #1) but somehow I’ve found myself browsing the bridal lingerie section of a multitude of online shops.

This year seems to be filling up with weddings rather quickly and with so many of my girlfriends about to take the plunge, why not share my finds.  What I’ve come to realize with wedding planning is how useful blogs are and I can’t begin to express my gratitude for the women out there who have made my life a little easier by sharing your finds and DIY’s with the rest of us.  The search can be monotonous and time is valuable, so here is a compiled list of my favorite newlywed négligées available online now and all under $250.

The Lila Lace Robe from BHLDN is absolutely stunning.  This couldn’t be more perfect for the classic bride who still wants to feel like one, long after her wedding day.  The delicately draping chiffon and corset-like fashion in which you fasten the robe together hints a naughty but nice appeal.  Perhaps it’s my Indian background that makes me like the aesthetic influence of this robe so much but I really feel it’s design transcends culture and beautifully highlights the femininity of a woman.

How pretty is this Ruffle Lace Teddy by Victoria’s Secret?  A teddy for those that are comfortable with something a little more risqué, this high cut panty line accentuates your legs, making them seem long and svelte.  The lacework is just darling and I don’t even hate that nude ruffle.  Overall, it’s a classy little number that’s sure to get more than two thumbs up.

Babydoll’s aren’t usually my first choice but this Pleated Babydoll from Victoria’s Secret in soft rose has me rethinking that.  Perfect for the blushing bride.  *Also available in other colors

cosabellaThis Cosabella Vittoria Teddy is similar in cut to the VS one above, but carries a heavier price tag.  Again, I love the lace detail.  It’s so simple and ladylike.  And why not opt for black?  Not all bridal lingerie has to be whites and pastels.

On the complete opposite end of the spectrum is this Flora Nikrooz Peachblossom Gown from Anthropologie and it’s flowing feminine fit is beautiful on any body type.

Definitely in love with this little number by Agent Provocateur.  The strategically placed lace patterns make this slip unequivocally daring and sexy.  *Black is also an available option.

For the girl who wants something simple and flirty.  The Hanky Panky set by Journelle includes this peek-a-boo lace front tie bralette and matching panty.

Forplay is known to carry a large selection of pretty racy lingerie so I was surprised to see this more conservative 3 piece chiffon sleep shirt set.  I actually find it effortlessly beautiful and alluring.

Last but certainly not least, I love this Casablanca lace side chemise by In Bloom.  So elegant and tastful.  Just gorgeous.
